BLEH!

Ok, yes I know I'm on again off again talking here and not. Right now I am very bleh, everything that can go wrong is going wrong, It feels so very much out of my hands and out of control.
Both me and my hubby are looking for 2nd jobs in hopes that one of us can find something because as it is now, our income is considerably less than our expenses. The expense we can't change at that.
We are trying to just get through till Feb when the Mortgage Co can rework it to make affordable for us. But until then we are suffering.
Things are tight at my job so I can not bring myself to ask for a raise. Even though if I don't get one this December it will be 2 years in a row now without one. And this will make it 7 years with the company.

Its seems that most businesses however want to give jobs to people that are unemployed first ( which is fair) and is making it near impossible to find anything. Plus the hours we can work suck in the evening suck. Not to many places are looking for someone that can't start until 6:30 pm or later.

The drive to and from Winter Haven to Orlando is rapidly killing us financially, but we are in a catch 22 of needing to stay put for the security.

Needless to say the holidays are starting to look a bit dismal to say the least this year.

Well gotta get off here, just needed to get stuff off my chest.

Waters a flowin again

So we got the plumber at our house first thing yesterday morning first he fixed the broken valve going into the house so we could get water going back in and then attacked the leak under the slab. Which so happened to be micrometers outside of the fix he did 3 yrs ago. Go figure!

With where it was it took him quite a bit of reaching under slab working as he did not want to bust up my floor anymore then he was having to.

Several hrs and $305 later I got my water back to flowing right and stopped watering nonexistent plants under my house with a leak lol

This whole fiasco of an entire weekend with no water resulted in me having to take a shower with a hose though which was a PITA all in itself sigh. I also ran a load of laundry and washed dishes and kept my toilets free of yuck all by hose lol. Just picture running around the house with 100' of hose in tow with a sprayer attached taking care of all the necessary water chores lol.

Needless to say it was $305 well spent to not have to do that again.
