Subway Points Update

This morning I finally had a response to the email I sent to corporate. All they are saying sorry but use them by your house. Well I'm sorry Subway but it is still a slap in the face.

" I'm sorry for the confusion regarding the "points" that you've collected at the Subway near your house in Winter Haven.
Every Subway location is a franchise and the stores in the Winter Haven area are not owned by DiPasqua Enterprises. DiPasqua owns 89 stores in the Orlando area and we are not doing the "points" program that the owner of the Winter Haven stores is running.
Not every Subway store participates in the same promotions or sales at the same time. Since the "points" you've accumulated were earned in the Winter Haven area, you will probably have to redeem them in the same area. You can call the store near your house and find out what other locations will redeem them for you. "

Western Digital - TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Ok so this starts out last year (after we got our tax refund in FEB) I purchased a 500 GB internal hard drive for my husband, it was the first time we ever bought a Western Digital product but I figured I had never heard anything bad so why not.

Fast forward less than a year later, yesterday morning I wake up and his computer is showing the Blue Screen of Death. So I shut it down and turn it back on, get it again, try and start it in Safe Mode same thing. So we decide fine try and reformat and it won't go past 0%. So I go onto the Western Digital website figuring we can get it replaced and it tells us it is exactly 1 week out of warranty but that if we can show proof of when it was purchased they will extend it to that day. We of course I had no idea where the receipt is. We have moved stuff around a lot this past year.

So I call them figuring a human might have a bit more sense then a machine with it only being 1 week. They tell me the same damn thing. "Sorry out of warranty nothing we can do" besides offer me a new drive at a discount rate. Yeah well I saw those prices on the website and for what a paid for this one its not discounted enough.

So I can tell you this much I will NEVER EVER BUY A WESTERN DIGITAL PRODUCT AGAIN.

I figured I'd give them a chance against Maxtor, at least with Maxtor I get 3 years. Oh and speaking of 3 years the same model drive we have if it was purchased after Aug 07 it would have a 3 yr warranty. PRETTY SUCKY IF YOU ASK ME.

So here is my roar to the Web DON'T BUY WESTERN DIGITAL that is unless you only want 1 year use out of it.
